Tree Surveying
Tree condition and Safety reports
For both private and commercial clients. As a landowner with trees you have a duty of care to anyone who comes onto or may be directly affected by your trees. Therefore, tree condition and safety reports on individual or groups of trees are an essential pathway in outlining management plans and creating a paper trail to show that you as the landowner have undertaken your 'duty of care'.
BS5387 Tree surveys and Reports
If you are developing land or simply carrying out renovation and there is the potential for this work to impact trees on or adjacent to the site your local planning authority will require a tree survey, tree constraints plan and, subsequent, report to allow you to build your design around the affected trees and minimise the ecological impact of the future construction. Additionally, your local authority may require the following: an aboricultural impact assessment, method statement and tree protections plans, supervision and site monitoring.

We can supply you with seasoned logs produced from unwanted trees. We do not buy wood from commercial sources and it is only taken from work we have done, therefore stocks can vary.

Who We Are
My name is Harry and this is a bit about why I started working in the aboricultural sector. Having started to coppicing chestnut in 2014 as a means to pay for my environmental degrees, I fell in love with the physical aspect of the work and began to realise how much there was to learn about trees, tree health, the environment and our interaction with them. A few years later whilst working at an environmental consultancy I completed my training and became a full time tree surgeon and surveyor.

Started in 2016 we offer a range of services in the arboriculture sector, from pruning fruit trees to dismantling large trees to tree surveying to stumpgrinding. Trees are at the centre of what we do and we give our clients the best advice on how to practically manage them, whilst minimising the impact that physical treework can have on tree health. Our focus is on tree retention and if a tree cannot be retained then we try to create a use for it after it has been removed: we do this through milling, firewood production or biomass creation.
